Last Christmas season, Victoria, a 10-year-old child was given a Nintendo DS by her grandmother. This was a special Christmas gift since her grandmother came home from a one week vacation in Japan. Victoria decided not to use the console not until New Year's day. Everything was still in tact inside the box. When New years Day came, she decided to open the box containing the console. She was very excited as well as her grandmother who was watching her opening the box. To her grandmother's surprise, Victoria didn't pick up the console. She tried to search for the instruction manual nintendo ds. "Why aren't you picking up the console, Vicky?", her grandmother asked. Victoria smiled at her grandmother and said, "Grandma, before I start using this, I need to know how to use it properly. I want to take care of it because its special. It came from Japan!!!". Her grandmother laughed and left her in the living room. She read every page of the instruction manual until she finally decided to start using the console.
